The company operates in two segments: "Engineering Manufacturing Services (EMS)" and "Distributed Energy Resources (DER)".

Distributed Energy Resources

Windforce Technology leverages real-world MW-class wind energy and solar photovoltaic field experience, creative engineering and manufacturing processes, generative artificial intelligence (Ai), and lean six sigma methodology to design, engineer, and manufacture distributed small wind turbines with extreme rotor diameters and innovative options for power classes ranging from 1 kW to 100 kW in horizontal-axis and vertical-axis configurations, optimized for low windspeed operation (IEC Wind Class III/IV).

We design and build control systems with advanced energy management capabilities that enable customers to expand their solar PV and diesel/gas generator projects by improving management and operation of existing power generation assets and maximizing the use of renewable energy sources leading to reduced fuel consumption and lower energy costs. Our advanced controllers are designed for micro-grid, island, on-grid, off-grid, and other applications.

Effective use of critical software applications plus generative Ai enables us to create sub-100 kW wind turbines and related products that require virtually zero maintenance that operate near 100% availability. Our prototyping and manufacturing team includes thousands of global partners that are inter-connected via API to our hybrid engineering and manufacturing team of core engineers, contractors, and Ai agents.

We are driven by the positive impact that high performance, zero maintenance, distributed small wind turbines can have on our energy independence when coupled with battery energy storage and hybrid power plants including solar photovoltaic (PV) and diesel/gas generators. Our portfolio of distributed small wind turbines (D-SWT) includes horizontal-axis units (1 kW to 100 kW) and vertical-axis units (1 kW to 10 kW).

Research and Development is actively engaged at various toll gate stages on vertical-axis 25 kW, 50 kW, and 100 kW models, and components for horizontal-axis models including rotor blades, generators, and controls using advanced materials science, new concepts, and continuous improvement. Our product line includes (10) HAWT and (5) VAWT wind turbines in addition to our control circuit boards. ​

How efficient are Windforce distributed small wind turbines?

Windforce distributed small wind turbines are optimized for low wind speed operation in IEC wind classes III and IV with start-up wind speed of 2.5 m/s. Our wind turbines capture wind energy with the largest rotor diameters per power class. 

What is the lifecycle of our small wind turbines?

The lifecycle our small wind turbines are 25 years with near-zero maintenance required. Our advanced control systems increase lifecycle by using algorithms that optimize operation over the life of the unit.

How noisy are small wind turbines?

The noise level for our wind turbines is less than 50 dBA. Our advanced airfoil-blade designs minimize noise and our controllers enable customization based on day, time, and other factors.
